A Distinct Identity

YAI is a student’s association started by Bosco Nshimiyumukiza at Agahozo Shalom, which is run by those students who are still in the school and those who  graduated and those who did not study at Agahozo but understand the mission and  vision of YAI. YAI is an African Youth Initiative, A pan-African, action and  community-service Oriented, youth-led initiative that strives for the participation,  development and Leadership of African Youth to transform Africa and achieve their  rights to peace, equality and social justice and organization of international  conferences on the global issues.

Young African Initiative focuses on the following subjects that students get to  learn more and deeply discuss on to find sustainable solutions to the world's  problems: 

  • Promoting the awareness and implementation of Sustainable Development Goals of  the UN in the communities

  • Pan African Leadership Program

  • Women Empowerment Program 

  • Community service as a chapter and other humanitarian activities

  • Model United Nations (MUN) as Chapter

  • Peace and conflict resolution

  • Learn more about 21st Century Skills

  • Organizing international Conferences
