Recovering from Covid-19: The Special Role of African Youth
Since March this year, the world has faced significant challenges caused by the Outbreak of covid-19 and Africa is not an exemption. This has social and economic Impact on both young and older Africans. Apart from many young Africans losing their jobs, there could be a serious decline in the implementation of many Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, the development and future of Africa is in the hands of young Africans.
Therefore, young Africans must be fully aware of the different impacts of the pandemic on the development of the Continent: How they can manage in these
difficult times, and how they can be empowered to make the best of the post Covid 19 era. This e-conference will take place on 15 September 2020 at 15:30 (CAT) and will engage young Africans in ways to accelerate their efforts towards youth empowerment, the economic and social impact specifically on women and girls during and after Covid-19 era.
